The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on Highway 6 near West Oaks Plaza Drive.

According to reports, an SUV traveling at a high rate of speed lost control, struck a pole, rolled over multiple times, and struck a tree before it came to rest. Then, the force of the crash ejected a female occupant of the SUV into the roadway.

Moreover, officers confirmed that a male occupant and the ejected woman both died in the crash.
