LEAGUE CITY, TX (September 26, 2023) – Monday night, a horrific single-vehicle crash near Bay Area Boulevard near FM-518 killed two people.

The incident happened at around 10:00 p.m. in the 500 block of Bay Area Boulevard near FM-518.

According to the League City Police, a northbound Jeep lost control for still unknown reasons, veered off the roadway, and collided with a tree in the center median.

As a result, responders pronounced the two female occupants of the vehicle, ages 27 and 32, dead at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
