1 Person Dead in Vallejo Auto Accident near Columbus Parkway and Redwood Parkway

VALLEJO, CA (September 3, 2023) – Friday morning, a horrific single-vehicle crash near Columbus Parkway and Redwood Parkway killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:32 a.m. near Columbus Parkway and Redwood Parkway.

According to the Vallejo Police Department, a 2005 Toyota Tundra lost control for still unknown reasons and struck a center median. Then, the force of the crash pushed the vehicle to rollover before it came to rest in the opposite lane.

Moreover, responders rushed the juvenile driver of the vehicle to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Then, paramedics pronounced a juvenile passenger of the vehicle, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
