Horrific Rollover Crash on Route U Kills 1 [Oxford, MO]

1 Person Dead in Oxford Auto Accident on Route U

OXFORD, MO (February 9, 2025) – Saturday morning, a horrific rollover crash on Route U killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:15 a.m. on Route U.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 failed to negotiate a curve, went off the east side of the road, struck an embankment, and went airborne. Then, the vehicle rolled over multiple times, ejecting a 21-year-old passenger of the vehicle in the process.

Moreover, responders pronounced the ejected passenger, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics airlifted the 20-year-old driver of the vehicle to a hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
