The incident happened at around 11:50 p.m. on Washington Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard.

According to reports, a westbound silver Subaru Impreza on Washington Boulevard struck the pedestrian. Then, the driver fled the scene and is still at large as of this writing.

Meanwhile, an LAPD press release confirmed that the woman succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.
