Reports said that the incident happened at around 3:23 a.m. in the 40 block of S. Jackson Avenue, near Interstate 680 and Alum Rock Avenue.

According to the San Jose Police Department, a garbage truck struck a pedestrian in the parking lot of Jackson Square.
