1 Dead in Riverside Motorcycle Accident on Indiana Avenue and Fensmuir Street

RIVERSIDE, CA (May 22, 2025) – Wednesday morning, a horrific motorcycle crash on Indiana Avenue and Fensmuir Street killed 1.

The incident occurred just before 5:00 a.m. on Indiana Avenue and Fensmuir Street, said the Riverside Police Department.

According to Sgt. Time Jensen, a motorcyclist whose identity remained undisclosed, was heading west on Indiana Avenue at an unconfirmed speed. Then, the driver of a Toyota pickup turned left onto Indiana from southbound Fensmuir.

Officers noted that the woman didn’t notice the approaching motorcyclist and entered the victim’s path.

Moreover, Jensen confirmed that the motorcyclist crashed into the front of the pickup and was ejected on the road, leaving that person with fatal injuries.

Then, the pickup driver immediately stopped following the incident. 

Afterward, responders transported the rider to a downtown hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Officers noted that the Toyota driver and her passenger suffered no injuries in the crash.

Moreover, the authorities urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the department’s Major Accident Investigation Team at 951-826-8723.
