1 Dead in Henderson Pedestrian Accident on West Main Street

HENDERSON, TX (May 14, 2023) – Friday night, a 14-year-old teen died in a horrific hit-and-run crash on West Main Street.

The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on West Main Street.

According to reports, a hit-and-run vehicle struck the teen. However, the teenage pedestrian succumbed to injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the white flatbed truck with a brush guard and either a toolbox or welding machine on the flatbed fled the crash scene.

Eventually, the police arrested the suspect after locating the truck. Then, they booked the suspect into the Rusk County Jail.
