2 Dead in San Diego Auto Accident on Paradise Valley Road and Munda Road

SAN DIEGO, CA (May 15, 2023) – Sunday morning, a horrific hit-and-run crash on Paradise Valley Road and Munda Road killed 2 people.

The incident happened at around 2:25 a.m. on Paradise Valley Road and Munda Road.

According to reports, a sedan headed west on Paradise Valley Road. Then, they turned left toward Munda Road and were broadsided by an oncoming truck.

After the crash, the pickup driver fled the crash scene and is still at large.

Officers confirmed that four people occupied the sedan at the time of the crash. Responders took a 25-year-old woman in the front passenger seat and a 20-year-old woman in the rear passenger seat to a hospital. However, both of them succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. Their identities remained undisclosed at this time.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old female driver of the sedan sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Responders took her to a hospital after firefighters cut off the top of the car to free her.

Also, a 25-year-old man in the rear driver’s side seat complained of pain. However, the authorities haven’t clarified whether responders took him to a hospital.
