HAYWARD, CA (February 6, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a horrific hit-and-run crash on Hesperian Boulevard and Sueirro Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:00 a.m. on Hesperian Boulevard and Sueirro Street.

According to reports, a white, medium-sized SUV, struck a male pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 51-year-old victim, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers said that the suspect vehicle was last seen going southbound on Hesperian Boulevard from Sueirro Street.
