CANOGA PARK, CA (December 8, 2024) – Friday afternoon, a horrific hit-and-run crash on De Soto Avenue near Gresham Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:15 p.m. on westbound De Soto Avenue, just north of Gresham Street.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a southbound grey/silver vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.
