1 Person Dead in Apple Valley Motorcycle Accident on Bear Valley Road near Navajo Road

APPLE VALLEY, CA (September 5, 2023) – Sunday night, a shocking dirt bike crash on Bear Valley Road near Navajo Road killed one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 7:15 p.m. on westbound Bear Valley Road near Navajo Road.

According to the Apple Valley Police Department, a westbound lime green and white 2008 Kawasaki KLX 450R collided with an eastbound gray Chevy Trailblazer SUV that attempted to make a left turn onto a shopping center in front of the motorcycle.

Moreover, AMR pronounced the dirt bike driver, a black male adult in his early 20s, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the SUV driver to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed two westbound lanes of Bear Valley, just east of Navajo Road, but have long since reopened.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Apple Valley Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
