ROUND ROCK, TX (April 30, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a horrific bicycle crash on Interstate 35 and E Old Settlers Boulevard killed 1 person.

The incident occurred just before noon on the northbound Interstate 35 frontage road and East Settlers Boulevard, near McDonald’s and Round Rock Toyota.

Police confirmed that a cyclist was involved in the crash, though the victim’s identity had not been released.

All westbound lanes from North Mays Street to I-35, including the overpass, were temporarily closed but have since reopened.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
