1 Dead in El Mirage Vehicle Crash on Richardson Road and El Mirage Road

EL MIRAGE, CA (February 15, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a horrific auto accident on Richardson Road and El Mirage Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 6:58 a.m. when a vehicle crashed with a semi-truck, at the intersection of Richardson Road and El Mirage Road, an unincorporated area in Adelanto.

However, the driver of the white Toyota Corolla was declared dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the semi-truck’s driver suffered no injuries in the crash.

Mara Rodriguez, a spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, added that the driver who died was an adult woman. Her identity remains undisclosed as the authorities continue to investigate the crash.

Reports added that the crash happened when a sedan hit the back of a semi-truck that was making a right turn off El Mirage Road.

The semi-truck seemed to be carrying a generator. It’s unclear if it was slowing down for a nearby power plant when the accident happened.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Victor Valley Station handles the crash investigation.
