PLEASANT HILLS, CA (June 3, 2023) – Thursday night, a horrific auto accident on Highway 242 near Gregory Lane killed one person.

The incident happened at around 11:32 p.m. on southbound State Highway 242 near Gregory Lane near the Gregory Lane off-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound grey Lexus IS-250 struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the female pedestrian died in the crash. Also, a passenger of the Lexus sustained minor injuries in the collision.
