According to authorities, the 3-vehicle collision happened on Sunday between Cobalt Road and Diamond Road.

Reports say that the three-vehicle crash on Mojave Drive critically injured a woman on Sunday, May 4, 2025. The incident occurred in the westbound lanes between Cobalt Road and Diamond Road when a blue Ford Mustang traveling eastbound crossed the center median and collided with a westbound white Honda Civic. A white Mercedes-Benz SUV was also involved but sustained no visible damage.

Emergency crews extricated the female Civic driver, who was trapped in the vehicle, and transported her to a local hospital with critical injuries. Responders also transported the Mustang driver, who suffered minor injuries. The Mercedes driver was unhurt.

Shortly after, an unrelated crash occurred in the eastbound lanes involving a gray 2019 Honda Accord and a black 2017 Chevrolet Volt. The Volt rear-ended the Honda when it reportedly stopped suddenly. No injuries were reported in this second collision.

Authorities closed Mojave Drive in both directions for several hours while investigating both crashes. Victorville Police continue to seek information from any witnesses.
