VENTURA, CA (May 16, 2023) – Monday morning, a horrific 2-vehicle crash on 101 Freeway near Solimar Beach killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 9:30 a.m. on 101 Freeway near Solimar Beach, north of Ventura.

According to initial reports, the crash involved a Honda CR-V and a utility truck. Then, both vehicles were engulfed in fire. Then, the authorities shut down all northbound lanes during the crash investigation.
