PHOENIX, AZ (May 16, 2023) – Saturday morning, a horrific 2-vehicle crash near 51st Avenue and Thomas Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened just after 11:30 a.m. near 51st Avenue and Thomas Road.

When the Phoenix fire crews arrived, they determined that the crash involved two vehicles.

Meanwhile, responders transported both drivers of the vehicles, a man and a woman, to the hospital in critical condition.

However, the man later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. His identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
