VPD Investigates 2-Vehicle Collision on Ninth Avenue

Victorville, CA (December 7, 2024) – A Honda occupant was injured following a vehicle crash on Bear Valley Road before Tuesday noon.

The two-vehicle crash happened around 11:41 a.m. on December 3 at the intersection with Ninth Avenue.

Responding officers found a gold-colored SUV with front-end damage and a blue Honda Civic with the driver’s side smashed in.

Afterward, the firefighters freed a Honda occupant from being trapped and airlifted the patient to an out-of-area hospital.

Moreover, the medical team evaluated the male driver of the SUV at the scene. The driver refused medical transportation.

Police confirmed that alcohol did not play a role in the collision.

Victorville Police Department is still investigating the cause of the traffic collision on Ninth Avenue.
