Holli McCarty Arrested in Hit-and-Run Crash on West Seventh Street [Reno, NV]

Reno, NV (September 27, 2022) – On Monday, a 17-year-old boy sustained injuries while officers arrested Holli McCarty, 40, in a hit-and-run crash near McQueen High School.

The traffic incident took place at about 7:30 a.m. on West Seventh Street and Sapphire Ridge Way.

According to the authorities, the victim was crossing the street when a car driven by Holli McCarty struck him and fled the scene.

As a result, the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries.

Later on, the authorities found the driver of the vehicle several blocks away. 

They arrested Holli McCarty for hit-and-run causing substantial bodily injury, failure to render aid, and driving without a valid license.
