58-year-old Hoang Mai Phan Dies in Horrific Crash on Euclid Street [Santa Ana, CA]

Santa Ana, CA (February 3, 2025) a Santa Ana motorcycle crash claimed the life of 58-year-old pedestrian, identified as Hoang Mai Phan of Garden Grove.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD), the deadly incident happened Saturday evening, at about 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Euclid Street.

Reports say that the motorcycle struck and killed the 58-year-old pedestrian.

Investigators determined that Phan was walking east across Euclid Street when a southbound motorcycle hit him.

Emergency responders from the Orange County Fire Authority treated Phan at the scene, but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The motorcyclist stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Investigators stated that impairment did not appear to be a factor, though the investigation remains ongoing.
