Hit-and-Run Crash on Seventh Street near Lorene Drive [Victorville, CA]

1 Hospitalized after Victorville Motorcycle Accident on Seventh Street

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 27, 2019) – A 21-year-old man sustained injuries after a hit-and-run crash on Seventh Street on September 25.
 
The man got hit around 7:47 p.m. while he rode a mini-bike on Seventh Street between Lorene Drive and La Paz Drive. Deputies, Victorville City Fire, and AMR came to the scene and treated an adult male with a severe leg injury.
 
Firefighters dispatched a medical helicopter to airlift the injured. The helicopter transported him to the helipad at Victor Valley Global Medical Center. After that, paramedics again airlifted the victim via Mercy Air to a trauma center.
 
According to some witnesses, a black Mustang hit the mini-bike and escaped the scene. In addition, the Mustang sustained a damaged bumper.
 
Meanwhile, a sheriff’s aviation unit came to help deputies as they searched the area for the suspect vehicle.
