Unidentified Person Dead in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident on Tropicana Avenue
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 29, 2020) – Monday night, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Tropicana Avenue killed a person in the southeast Las Vegas Valley.
Metro Lt. David Gordon revealed that the crash happened when the pedestrian walked across East Tropicana Avenue at Morris Street, east of Nellis Boulevard, at about 8:20 p.m.
Gordon also described the hit-and-run vehicle as a red or orange SUV, probably a Chevy Tahoe.
When the medical responders arrived at the scene, they took the pedestrian to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Unfortunately, the authorities later declared him dead at the hospital.
Due to the collision, the authorities shut down both directions of Tropicana Avenue between Sacks Drive and Nellis during the crash investigation.
The police didn’t provide additional details about the fatal pedestrian accident on Tropicana Avenue.
