Driver Wrecked Mary Hudson’s Car in Hit-and-Run Crash on Pittsburg Street

 
Spokane, WA (January 11, 2021) – On Friday, Mary Hudson’s vehicle was completely wrecked in a hit-and-run crash on Pittsburg Street.
 
The incident took place sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. near Rogers High School.
 
Hudson said she feels devastated that someone would do so much damage and just leave easily.
 
“That’s my only car…it’s totaled,” she said. “Now I have to rely on people to take me to and from work. When you’re in the military, you can’t just call out sick.”
 
Also, Mary said the suspect did leave a note stating ‘knocked, no one answered.’
 
However, the suspect didn’t provide any contact or insurance information.
 
“I want to know what was going through their mind … and if they are okay,” she said. “I want to hold them accountable.”
 
Mary recently used some of her savings for a life-saving procedure for her dog. She said money is tight.
 
Even though she does have insurance, paying for the deductible is more than what she can handle right now.
