Suspect Arrested after Hit-And-Run Crash on State Route 51 in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (March 17, 2023) – Friday evening, two women sustained critical injuries in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 51 and Thomas Road.

The crash on State Route 51 in Phoenix happened around 7:45 p.m. on March 17.

Police said they found two women on the road with injuries. Both were taken to the hospital where they remain in critical condition.

The driver allegedly left the scene in a vehicle but was subsequently discovered close to 32nd Street and Indian School Road to the west. 

The suspect is currently in custody.
