Horrific Hit-and-Run Crash on Candleberry Road Injures Pedestrian [Las Vegas, NV]

Las Vegas, NV (June 24, 2023) On Wednesday evening, a pedestrian suffered injuries after a hit-and-run crash on Candleberry Road, near Rainbow Boulevard.

According to the LVMPD, the auto-pedestrian accident happened at about 9 p.m. at the intersection of South Torrey Pines Drive and Candleberry Road.

Reports say that a 2011-2014 Chrysler 200 hit a pedestrian and then fled the scene afterward. Officials say that the vehicle will have noticeable front-end damage to the lower grill, hood, and/or windshield.

Medics rushed the pedestrian to a hospital, officials say that the pedestrian is in critical condition.

Authorities are actively seeking the suspect driver and vehicle, who remains at large.
