Horrific Hit-and-Run Crash on 15th Avenue Northwest Kills 1 [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (February 19, 2025) – Seattle PD is searching for the driver responsible in the horrific hit-and-run crash on 15th Avenue Northwest.

According to Seattle police, the deadly incident happened on February 1 at about 1:20 a.m. at the intersection with Northwest Market Street in Ballard.

Reports say that a pickup truck fatally struck a 39-year-old pedestrian.

Witnesses saw the pickup truck traveling eastbound on Northwest Market Street when it hit the man.

Officials say that instead of stopping, the driver fled the scene, continuing eastbound. Several bystanders rushed to help the seriously injured victim, but he later died at the hospital.

Investigators have released an image and video of the suspect’s vehicle and urge anyone with information to come forward. Those with tips can contact Seattle police at 206-684-8923.
