Man on Scooter Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Crash on Mission Street and St. Mary’s Avenue

San Francisco, CA (September 10, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash on Mission Street and St Mary’s Avenue left a man on a scooter critically injured on Wednesday. 

The incident occurred on September 8 in the area of Mission Street and St. Mary’s Avenue at about 11:09 p.m.

Emergency responders arrived in the Bernal Heights neighborhood and found the man on the scooter who was hit by a vehicle. Due to the impact of the collision, the man suffered life-threatening injuries. However, there has been no update regarding his current condition. 

Scooter Accident in San Francisco

According to the report, the vehicle identified as a sedan immediately fled the scene. As of Thursday, the suspect remains at large. 

San Francisco police are asking anyone who might have information regarding the case to contact the Police Department’s tip line at (415) 575-4444.  Furthermore, they can send a tip by texting a message starting with “SFPD” and send it to TIP411.
