Newport Beach, CA (June 20, 2020) – A hit-and-run collision on Route 73 blocked roadways on Saturday.
 
The collision happened at around 3:30 p.m on June 20, occurring on the southbound side of the freeway, just north of Newport Coast Boulevard.
 
Reportedly, a BMW and an Aston Martin involved in the incident. One vehicle fled the scene. The officers are still investigating the crash.
 
Moreover, the crash shut down the 1, 2, and 3 lanes.
