Authorities Searching Suspect in Van-Building Crash on West Memory Lane
Santa Ana, CA (May 2, 2023) On Monday evening, a hit-and-run collision on Memory Lane left 2 residents injured.
Authorities say that the van-building crash happened around 10:20 p.m. at the 1600 block of West Memory Lane.
Reports say that a minivan crashed into a Santa Ana apartment, the collision injured 2 occupants inside the residence.
Orange County Fire Authority personnel say that both occupants were transported to the hospital. Officials say that a woman is in critical condition, while the other person’s condition is currently unrevealed.
Officials say that the minivan drove through the front wall of the residence, and a woman was pinned for several minutes before rescuers were able to extricate her.
Police says that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
Santa Ana PD is investigating the van-building crash and have not released further details about the incident.
