Toppenish, WA (July 20, 2023) Early Friday morning, a woman was seriously hurt after a hit-and-run collision on Fort Road.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), that the auto-pedestrian accident happened around 4:20 a.m. at the intersection of SR 97 and Fort Road.

Reports say that a northbound vehicle hit and injured a woman crossing SR 97 using a crosswalk. The driver failed to stop and render aid to the injured woman.

Medics rushed the critically injured female pedestrian to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
