1 Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision on Chiquito Canyon Road, Suspect at Large

 
Val Verde, CA (June 17, 2020)– On Thursday, one motorcyclist was injured following a hit-and-run collision on Chiquito Canyon Road.
 
The incident took place on June 11 around 5:42 a.m. After receiving reports of a collision, the California Highway Patrol responded at the 28600 block of Chiquito Canyon Road.
 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department also arrived at the scene. According to the Fire Department spokesman Franklin Lopez, the crash injures one person.
 
The injured motorcyclist was transported to the hospital for treatments. However, the severity of sustained injuries is still unknown.
 
Officer Peter Nicholson of the CHP Traffic Management Office said they were unable to locate the suspect and its vehicle.
 
As of the moment, officers have not established the identifications of the suspect and the vehicle involved.
