COLLEGE STATION, TX (October 16, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, Hilaire Kallendorf died in a fatal pedestrian crash on 8100 Hilaire Kallendorf.

The incident happened at around noon, in the 8100 block of Atlas Pear Drive.

The College Station Police said that a College Station garbage truck struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Authorities confirmed that the pedestrian, identified as 50-year-old Kallendorf, of College Station, died at the scene.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the Accident Reconstruction, Criminal Investigation Division, and Crime Scene Division continued investigating the crash.
