Edmonds, WA (November 21, 2022) – On Sunday night, a person sustained injuries following the Highway 99 accident.

The traffic accident took place on the southbound freeway in the area of 238th Street Southwest.

According to the authorities, the pedestrian was not in the crosswalk when they were struck by the vehicle. 

Immediately, the paramedics rushed the victim to Harborview Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. Officers say the driver did not show signs of impairment.
