When driving, it is important to follow all driving laws and the conditions of the road. If you see any vehicle or driver that looks dangerous, keep your distance. If you see a vehicle weaving in and out of the lanes, following too closely, or traveling at a higher rate of speed, move over a few lanes and get out of their way.
Drive defensively to ensure the safety of surrounding vehicles, drivers, and pedestrians.
Injuries in While Traveling
Nevada’s road accident rate continues to increase, rather than decrease, despite the additional safety features on newer vehicle models.
The increasing crash rate reflects that auto accidents like the solo-car accident on Highway 50 are a major public health threat. They are a leading cause of death for individuals ages 5-64.
As a matter of fact, according to the NHTSA, two out of three motorists will be involved in an injury accident during their life.
