Chico, CA (September 8, 2022) On Thursday afternoon, a traffic accident on Highway 32 sent a man to the hospital.

Authorities say that the traffic collision happened around 1:45 p.m. south of West East Avenue and north of West Lindo Avenue.

The collision closed traffic to the northbound and southbound lanes. Officials reopened the northbound lane around 4:30 p.m., while the southbound lanes were reopened at around 5 p.m.

Officials are investigating the incident and have not released additional information at this time.
