San Diego Police Searching Suspect in Hit-and-Run Crash on Jamacha Road

San Diego, CA (January 23, 2023) On Sunday morning, a wrong-way crash on Highway 125 left 2 people with injuries.

Reports say that the hit-and-run crah happened around 10 a.m. an the southbound lanes of SR-125 just north of the Jamacha Road exit.

San Diego Police say that a driver on a stolen SUV went on SR 125 and collided head-on with another vehicle.

Officials say that the driver fled on foot after the crash. Meanwhile, a passenger on the SUV and the driver of the other vehicle both sustained injuries due to the crash.

Paramedics transported both patients to a hospital.

Meanwhile, authorities are actively searching for the suspect driver.
