Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Bear Valley Road [Hesperia, CA]

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Multiple Drivers near 3rd Avenue

 
HESPERIA, CA (February 27, 2019) – An unidentified man lost his life Tuesday morning, when he was struck in an auto accident on Bear Valley Road.
 
The heartbreaking incident befell around 2:00 a.m., in the eastbound lanes of Bear Valley Road. First responders arrived to the scene after receiving multiple dispatch calls about a serious multi-vehicle collision in the area. The 27-year-old victim’s identity is not currently available.
 
Reports indicate the Las Vegas man was first hit by a 65-year-old woman driving a 2013 Ford Fiesta. Next, a second vehicle described as a black sedan also struck him. Lastly, a white four-door Honda Civic was the final vehicle to strike him.
 
Authorities say the female driver of the Ford pulled over and stayed at the scene. However, the drivers of the two other vehicles fled the roadway and continued traveling east. There has been no update on their current status.
