BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 14, 2021) – Tuesday night, Herminia Arreola Morales, 58, died in a pedestrian crash on Panama Lane and Betty Street.
 
The fatal pedestrian crash happened just before 7:00 p.m. on Panama Lane and Betty Street.
 
According to police reports, the woman was trying to cross the road.
 
However, a silver or white Mercedes sedan struck her. Afterward, a red Chevy Silverado also hit her.
 
As a result, the woman succumbed to her injuries. Meanwhile, the authorities are urging anyone with information about the crash to contact the Bakersfield Police Department at 661-327-7111.
 
At this time, the authorities continue to investigate the pedestrian crash on Panama Lane and Betty Street. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
