Henry Punt, Steve Sanz, Jacquie Figg, and Kenneth Malinowski, Killed in Dinsmore Plane Crash
Dinsmore, CA (July 16, 2021) – Earlier today, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office identified 69-year-old Henry Puntof Los Angeles County, 63-year-old Steve Sanz of Orange County, 56-year-old Jacquie Figgs of San Bernardino County, and 62-year-old Kenneth Malinowski of Sacramento County, as the fatalities in a small plane crash near Dinsmore airport.
The single-engine Mooney M20J crashed late Thursday morning in in a wooded area of Northern California.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Office statement credited witnesses and community members who attempted to help the victims and potentially prevented the fire from progressing into a wildfire.
