Pedestrian Accident Near Decatur Boulevard Kills 79-Year-Old Las Vegas Woman
Las Vegas, NV (June 30, 2022) – On Monday, Helen Yiatras, a 79-year-old Las Vegas woman, died in a Charleston Boulevard accident.
The authorities received the crash report at about 9 a.m. Saturday, near Decatur Boulevard.
Reports say Yiatras was walking near a private drive when a 24-year-old Oklahoma woman driving a Kia Amanti struck her.
Right away, the paramedics rushed Helen Yiatras to University Medical Center where she died Monday.
According to the investigators, the driver failed to yield the right of way which resulted in the collision. The Kia driver remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment at the time of the accident.
In the meantime, there is no update if the authorities cited the driver involved in the pedestrian accident near Decatur Boulevard.
