Heidi Cai Dies in Rear-End Crash on Interstate 15 [Baker, CA]

Heidi Cai Killed in Car Accident on Interstate 15

 
Baker, CA (December 2, 2020) – On Tuesday, 56-year-old Heidi Cai, a Las Vegas resident, died in a rear-end crash on southbound Interstate 15.
 
The fatal crash happened at around 5:43 a.m. north of mile marker 153.
 
Apparently, a vehicle struck another from behind on the 15 Freeway. As a result, both of the drivers lost control and their vehicles rolled over.
 
Emergency crews responded and found Cai lying in the center divider.
 
Immediately, rescuers provided life-saving procedures. However, Ms. Cai succumbed to her injuries at the scene, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:12 AM.
 
Meanwhile, responders took both drivers to Las Vegas area hospitals.
 
The Barstow office of the California Highway Patrol is investigating the 15 Freeway crash.
