Hector Reyes Dead in Fernley Car Accident
FERNLEY, NV (May 2, 2019) – A man died in a car collision on Highway 50A and Desert Rose on April 19.
At 4:10 p.m., troopers responded to the scene. According to the NHP’s preliminary investigation, the northbound Cadillac SUV driver on Desert Rose near US-50A intersection tried to turn left.
At the same time, an eastbound Dodge sedan traveled on US-50A in the right lane. The Cadillac drove to 50A to do a left turn. However, it struck the front of the Dodge.
The 67-year-old Dodge driver, Hector Luis Reyes of Fallon, succumbed to his injuries after medics took him to a hospital.
