34-Year-Old Heather Tyler Hospitalized in DUI Crash on San Justo Road

San Juan Bautista, CA (January 21, 2021) – On Saturday, 34-year-old Heather Tyler of Los Banos was injured in a fatal DUI crash on San Justo Road.

The fatal crash happened at about 10:15 p.m. in an unincorporated area of San Benito County.

Apparently, a 33-year-old San Juan Bautista woman was driving a 2018 Dodge Charger west of Lucy Brown Lane.

Her vehicle veered to the left and traveled off the south road edge.

For this reason, the vehicle crashed with a dirt embankment and fence and then flipped over several times.

Subsequently, the woman was thrown from her vehicle and incurred fatal injuries. Authorities pronounced her dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, responders took Tyler, a passenger, to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital.

Authorities consider alcohol impairment as a factor in this accident.
