2 People Hospitalized in Goleta Auto Accident on 6600 Cathedral Oaks Boulevard

GOLETA, CA (January 14, 2024) – Saturday morning, a disastrous head-on crash on 6600 Cathedral Oaks Boulevard injured two people.

The incident happened at around 10:44 a.m. in the 6600 block of Cathedral Oaks Boulevard.

According to reports, a Jeep Cherokee collided head-on with a Dodge pickup truck for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated the driver of the Jeep who was trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Jeep to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with major injuries. Also, responders transported the driver of the Dodge to the ER with minor injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Cathedral Oaks Boulevard between Los Carneros and Glen Annie Road but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
