HAYWARD, CA (March 19, 2019) – One person was hurt following a two-car crash Tuesday evening in Hayward, the California Highway Patrol reported.
 
The crash happened around 7:47 p.m. on Lewelling Boulevard at 238 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white BMW and a red Lexus collided, sending debris on the roadway.
 
While the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, an ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and took a female driver to a hospital who complained of pain to the chest.
