HARVARD, CA – Man Killed in Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway at Field Road

SUV Overturns on 15 Freeway in Harvard Killing its Passenger

 
HARVARD, CA (May 3, 2019) – A 62-year-old man was killed following a rollover crash Friday afternoon in Harvard, authorities said.
 
At 12:15 p.m., officers of the California Highway Patrol and Marine Corps Logistics Base personnel responded to a report of a car accident on southbound 15 Freeway, just South of Field Road.
 
It was determined that a silver SUV had overturned about 20 feet off the roadway and into a ditch, where it landed on its side.
 
A male passenger in the car suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has been withheld pending a positive identification and notification of kin.
 
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired to cause the collision. Further investigation is underway.
