Morning 4-Vehicle Collision on Highway 198 in Hanford, Injuries Reported

 
HANFORD, CA (March 22, 2019) – A child was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision Friday morning in Hanford.
 
The collision happened around 7:55 a.m. on eastbound Highway 198 at Douty Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, at least four vehicles were involved. When officers arrived, one vehicle was recovered in the center divider and others were on the right shoulder.
 
Injuries were sustained in the crash but the extent was not immediately available. An ambulance unit took one child to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
 
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in the reports and media releases. The incident is still under investigation.
