Gregorio Oropeza Fatally Struck in San Pedro Accident on 14th Street

 
SAN PEDRO, CA (January 4, 2021) – Sunday morning, a 71-year-old Gregorio Oropeza died in a pedestrian crash on 14th Street and Gaffey Street.
 
The fatal incident happened at 12:53 a.m. on 14th Street and Gaffey Street, said the Los Angeles Police Department.
 
According to reports, a southbound motorist on Gaffey Street struck the pedestrian walking west on 14th Street. When the medical responders arrived, they declared Mr. Oropeza dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the circumstances that have led up to the crash remain unknown. Once additional details become available, the public will be duly informed.
 
Thus, the authorities continue to investigate the collision.
