Greg Campbell Killed, Josphat Muhia of Eureka Involved in US 101 Accident
Fernbridge, CA (November 03, 2021) – On November 01, Greg Campbell of Sausalito died, and Josphat Muhia of Eureka was involved in a pedestrian accident on US 101.
It was approximately 2:12 a.m. when Campbell was fatally struck north of Fernbridge.
Officers said Campbell was walking within the northbound lanes of US-101 when he was struck by a 2021 Subaru sedan being driven by Muhia.
The paramedics arrived on scene and attempted to render aid to Campbell. However, Campbell succumbed to those injuries and died at the scene..
Moreover, The authorities do not consider impairment on Muhia’s end as a factor in this accident. Campbell’s impairment of is still unknown and is pending toxicology results by the Humboldt County Coroner’s Office.
